At Mutt Matters, we use scientifically-proven, humane and reward-based training methods. This means that we do NOT use shock, pain or fear to train your dogs.

Studies have shown that using pain or fear to train your dogs can cause unintended negative associations and potentially contribute to aggression in dogs, as well as tarnish the trust and relationship you have with your dog.

We believe that there is a better way to train man's best friend than using pain or fear. Dogs trained using positive reinforcement methods are a joy to watch - always happy and eager to work, with the ability to problem-solve! When you see the difference between dogs trained using reward-based versus traditional compulsion training methods, there's no turning back!
