TP Animal Clinic & Wellness

The TP Animal Clinic & Wellness (TPACW) is one of the four Learning Enterprises at the School of Applied Science.

TPACW is housed within the Centre for Aquaculture and Veterinary Science and since 2018, has been granted a full veterinary license by the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) in 2019.

The clinic enhances students’ competencies in providing veterinary assistance in a real world setting. The Veterinary Technology students are given opportunities to observe our veterinary technicians at work and gain hands on experience helping out from admission of patients, anesthesia preparation, intra-operative monitoring, post-surgery care, to discharge and treatment of patients. Students work under the close supervision of veterinarians and veterinary technicians at all times.

The clinic offers the full spectrum of veterinary services, including animal rehabilitation, with a focus on the wellness of family pets by protecting, promoting and maintaining good health. We aim to provide affordable services with best practice without compromising on patient care.
